Players
Player Availability

The whole team must arrive at the match venue at least half an hour before the advertised starting time of the game.  This is to allow time for pre-match instructions, warm-up exercises, filling out match cards, paying of match fees.  Match Fees must be paid to the referees for competitive games 15 minutes prior to the game commencing.  Always allow extra time for possible transport problems or to find an unfamiliar location.  In wet weather, allow extra time for travelling.

Injuries and Insurance

Players who are injured and/or bleeding should be removed from the play immediately.  A First Aid Kit and ice packs are kept inside the clubhouse in the Canteen.  All registered players are covered by an insurance policy taken out through Football Brisbane.  Please contact the Secretary as soon as possible after the injury and they will supply you with the appropriate form.  Players who need to use a Ventolin puffer must be taken off the field while the Ventolin is administered.  Only players or parents/caregivers can administer Ventolin or other medication.

Illness and Health Problems

Please ensure that you advise you coach if you child has an illness or medical condition; for example, Asthma.  Primarily, parents are responsible for deciding if their child is fit to train or play.  Children who regularly require medication such as Ventolin will not be permitted to train or play in competition games unless they have their medication readily available.

Players wearing glasses must have “safety lens” in their glasses and they must be secured to the head with a sports strap.
